Marquette, MI (February 9, 2024) – A motor vehicle accident reported near the Marquette Branch Prison ended in injuries. The accident took place on March 7.

Reports provided by the Marquette Police Department show that a blue Saturn was involved in a collision with an unknown number of vehicles on US Highway 41. The force of the crash sent a Subaru off the roadway, causing it to land in Lake Superior. One person was injured in the accident. The victim was transported by ambulance to a local hospital for emergency care. The incident is currently being investigated by law enforcement.
