Detroit, MI (November 19, 2021) – A 51-year-old Roseville man lost his life after he was struck by two vehicles on a highway in Detroit in the early morning hours of November 16. Michigan State Police stated that the victim was a passenger in a vehicle that pulled over so he could go to the bathroom.
The man was reportedly struck by two vehicles on M-39 near McNichols Road at approximately 3:15 a.m. What led up to the collision remains under police investigation at this time.
Detroit EMS were dispatched shortly after the fatal incident occurred. The victim was declared deceased on-site. His name has not currently been released.
Both drivers involved remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities. Police in Detroit continue to investigate the details of the wreck.
