Warren, MI (December 11, 2021) – An auto accident occurred on a roadway in Macomb County on the evening of December 11, Saturday. Sources indicate that the crash happened at approximately 7:30 p.m.
Police and paramedics were dispatched to the eastbound lanes of Interstate 696 near Hoover Lanes where they assisted injured parties and investigated the circumstances of the wreck. Upon their arrival, they found that at least one person was in need of emergency assistance.
The identities of the involved parties have not been made public at this time as police continue to investigate the circumstances of the accident. The left shoulder, right center lane, right lane, and entrance ramp were blocked for some time after the incident occurred in order to allow responders to work in the area.
Drivers were asked to use different routes of travel while the scene remained active with responders. Police continue to investigate the details of the accident.
